Pigeons and doves are the same thing!
Most folks don't realize it, but it is true! Pigeons and doves are the same thing! They are in the same family columbiforme. I had a friend, the late Doctor William Michael Monsour, that would cross doves and pigeons. He called them "dovegans"...
Life begins!
My life began at five, even though I was born five years earlier. My first thoughts of a five year old were faded ones, which are still faded today.

Radio
I worked in radio as a disc-jockey for twenty-six years, and have been off the air for about ten years now, and have been trying, or thinking about trying to get on with a station like WWL New Orleans, but when you are an old forty-eight year old guy like me, it is hard to get on with a station. I have some good friends, like Tim Brando, and Ken Shepherd that has done real well for themselves, but me I'm still struggling!
Living in Louisiana
Living in Louisiana can be a experience not for the faint of heart. I'm talking about the great food in New Orleans. If you have never been to Louisiana, you must. I live in Shreveport, which is in the northern part of Louisiana, and it's a lot like Texas in these parts, the reason being is that we are only thirty miles from Texas. In North Louisiana, we eat so-called soul food, like "chicken-fried steak", "chicken-sandwiches", and "chicken, "chicken", and more "chicken"! In south Louisiana, which is from Lafayette to New Orleans, they have the best "boudin", and seafood dishes in the world! You must take the time to visit Louisiana. In New Orleans, you can purchase the famous "big-ass" beer!
Seinfeld vs. Raymond
"Everybody didn't love Raymond"! They loved looking at that lovely Patricia Heaton every week! She is a beauty! I heard a lot of commentary before "Raymond" signed off, a lot were saying that it was the best sitcom ever. I disagree with that analogy, due to my belief that "Seinfeld" was the best sitcom ever. Seinfeld has been off the major network, NBC for a while now, but I still watch it every night in reruns,and last night while watching an episode, I laughed so hard, I was in tears. So, "Seinfeld" vs. "Everybody Loves Raymond", the nod would go to "Seinfeld", but Patrica Heaton is a fine piece of woman!

My depression!
Hello, it is Friday, the 20th of May, and I just don't know what is going to become of me? Ever since the loss of my daughter a year and a half ago, my life has certainly changed, and not for the better. I was unable to work for a six month period, due to depression, and if I don't recover soon, I'll lose everything. I just don't understand why we have such tragedies in life, but we have to do our best to over come them. Any advice?
